Simran Dua
Simran Dua is an experienced entrepreneur and mentor based in New York, currently serving as the Founder of Meet The Otter since September 2022. She has a strong background in product development and startup mentorship, exemplified by her role as a Guest Lecturer at the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY) from October 2017 to August 2024, where she supports pre-seed to seed startup teams and conducts workshops.
Previously, Simran was the CEO of My Subscription Addiction from March 2020 to August 2022, where she collaborated with a team to create a platform for discovering subscription services. She also worked as a Public Speaking Coach at Own The Room from March 2018 to January 2021, helping executives enhance their communication skills.
Her earlier experience includes significant roles at Amazon, where she was the Head of Amazon IRL, focusing on new retail experiences for DTC brands and startups from January 2017 to February 2020, and as a Senior Product Manager for Kindle from August 2014 to January 2017. Simran’s career also includes positions at Unilever HPC, Garden State Home Finance, and JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she developed strategic insights and financing solutions.
