Jenn Burka
Jenn Burka is a Principal at FTW Ventures, where she focuses on seed and pre-seed investments in food and agtech startups that prioritize benefits for people, the planet, and profit. Her interests include climate tech, supply chain tech, personalized nutrition, sustainable packaging, and restaurant/retail tech. Jenn has a rich background in the food industry, having grown up in a family involved in food service and nutrition.
In her recent experiences, she has taken on several part-time roles, including Board Director positions at Earthodic and FreshFry. She is a Seed Investor for Arise, Sylvan Health, and ALTR. Prior to her current role at FTW Ventures, she was a Senior Associate at Evolv Ventures, where she invested in early-stage technology companies disrupting the food and retail industry. Jenn has also held various positions at the Marcus Samuelsson Group, where she contributed to strategy and development and managed culinary events on Holland America Line cruise ships.
In her free time, Jenn enjoys hosting dinner parties, hiking, and caring for her extensive collection of houseplants.
