Eason Yang
Eason Yang is a prominent designer and social innovator who founded Not Entirely Dead (NED) to assist cancer survivors in their professional comebacks after facing career gaps due to health challenges. His work has garnered significant recognition, including Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Award and Innovation by Design Award in 2023.
Currently, Eason serves as a Board Member for AIGA New York, where he is involved in scaling the Design NY Mentorship Program, and as a Social Innovation Mentor at Yale University, focusing on Design Thinking for Social Innovation and Creative Ventures. He has been the Founder and Creative Director of NED since 2019, leading initiatives that have received multiple awards for social impact and design.
Previously, Eason held various creative leadership roles, including Creative Director at Lululemon, Uber, Schneider Electric, and Ogilvy, among others. He has also contributed to academia as a Design Educator at the University of Washington, where he taught visual communication design and experience design. His extensive experience in creative direction and design thinking positions him as a key figure in reshaping narratives around creativity and societal impact.
