Claudia Meng

Claudia Meng holds a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, graduating magna cum laude from Yale University, and has completed advanced coursework in Data Science. She is fluent in English, Chinese, and French.
In her recent experiences, Claudia served as a Special Assistant to the Secretary at the USDA from October 2023 to October 2024 and is currently a Special Advisor to the Secretary from October 2024 to January 2025. Prior to her roles at the USDA, she worked at KKR as a Private Equity and Growth Equity Investor from 2021 to October 2023 and completed two summer internships as a Private Equity Summer Analyst in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, she interned at the Executive Office of the President in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative in late 2022.
Claudia has also held various research and investment roles, including a Research Fellow position at Yale’s Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy in 2022 and a Technology Investor role at Rough Draft Ventures from September 2021 to September 2022. Her earlier experiences include internships at Advent International and the Middle East Investment Initiative and a role in government relations at Covid Act Now.
