Esther Zirbel
Esther Zirbel is an experienced academic coach and former astrophysicist with a strong background in higher education. Currently serving as the CEO and Education Director at Learning Ledgers Foundation since May 2020, she focuses on developing online and in-person courses to empower educators and students for the 21st-century workforce. Prior to this role, she was the CEO and Founder of Educational Coaching Consultant from November 2015 to December 2021, where she assisted universities globally in enhancing higher education pedagogy through professional development programs for faculty.
Esther has also held significant positions at various prestigious institutions, including Brown University, where she was the Director of STEM Programs from February 2011 to December 2014, introducing faculty development initiatives and enhancing STEM curriculum. Her earlier roles include teaching and mentoring at Tufts University and Walden University and conducting research in astrophysics at institutions like the City University of New York and the Space Telescope Science Institute. Esther’s diverse experiences reflect her commitment to improving teaching and learning in higher education.
