Kelsey Baker

Kelsey is an independent consultant focused on social and economic justice. She helps organizations scale their impact through partnerships, capacity building, and capital deployment. Currently, she works with Brocade Studio on the firm’s business development, strategic planning, and business planning verticals.

Previously, as Senior Director of Business Development and Program Design at Possibility Labs, she developed financial and operational strategies to address the needs of BIPOC-led organizations advancing new economy models. Kelsey managed The NYC Fund for Girls and Young Women of Color at the New York Women’s Foundation, leading funder engagement and participatory grant-making to resource organizations led by and for youth of color. She has worked in the Office of the President at the Ford Foundation, supporting special initiatives, including the Disability Inclusion Fund, which has since transformed into a national collaborative. Kelsey holds an M.S. and B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
