Matthew Hooper
Matthew Hooper is the creator and producer of “Right To Invest,” an event and social media series dedicated to demystifying venture capital and empowering entrepreneurs. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Queens College, where he teaches courses on entrepreneurship and innovation. With a robust background in building companies, managing accelerators, and advising founders, Matthew brings deep expertise in startup growth, innovation, and organizational transformation.
Previously, Matthew was Managing Partner at Kaplak Ventures, where he provided strategic leadership to founders, managed accelerator programs, and drove growth in climate tech. He has held leadership and advisory roles at organizations such as WEVE Acceleration, the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale, and IDONEA. His professional mission centers on supporting founders, fostering innovation, and bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and investors, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, software engineering, and the consumer internet.
